2026 Operation Roadcheck

May 12-May 14, 2026: The FMCSA and its CVSA Partners are preparing for the 2026 OPERATION ROADCHECK. As usual, certified USDOT Inspectors ( Federal, State, County and Local partners nationwide) will inspect Commercial Vehicles. The inspections will take place at Weigh Stations/Scale houses, temporary sites and roadside locations. The detail is a 72 hour Blitz, which may result in some inspection locations to remain open during non-regular operating hours. Drivers are to be aware that bypassing an open scale is a violation. Drivers should continue to be diligent in pre-trip inspections and ensure all defects are identified and corrected.
